Our Mission

Summarized in the words of Jesus found in Matthew 28:18-19

“I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. You can be sure of this, I am with you always, even to the end of the world.”

Our Beliefs

THE BIBLE

The Bible is the inspired, complete, and infallible (i.e., mistake free) Word of God. It is the final authority upon all matters to which it speaks. The primary message of the Bible is that God created humanity in His image, He loves people, and He wants to have a personal and intimate relationship with mankind through the finished work of Jesus Christ.

THE TRINITY

There is only one God, and He is the sole creator of both heaven and earth. God exists, however, as three distinct Persons – God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Each of these distinct Persons are simply different manifestations of the One True God. Salvation by Grace: The bad news is that all people are born into the nature of sin, are spiritually lost, and deserve God’s divine judgment. The good news is that God offers eternal life to every person who accepts Jesus Christ as his or her personal Savior. Salvation cannot be bought with any amount of money or earned through human effort. Eternal life is God’s gift to humanity that can only be received by a recognition of and faith in Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world.

JESUS CHRIST

Jesus Christ is much more than just a prophet or a historical figure. Rather, Jesus was God in the flesh, was born of the virgin Mary, and lived a sinless human life. He voluntarily took upon Himself all of the sins of the world, died and rose again, ascended into Heaven, and is now sitting at the right hand of the Father. Jesus Christ is our advocate and our mediator. He will one day return to consummate history and to fulfill the eternal plan of God.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit is the part of God who convicts the world of sin and who draws people towards Christ. At the point of salvation, the Holy Spirit immediately comes to live inside the heart of every believer. He empowers and encourages all Christians to live Christ-like lives and brings to them spiritual gifts they are to use in their service to God.

THE CHURCH

The local church is a group of believers who gather for fellowship, worship, prayer, instruction and encouragement. The Church is where believers invest their time, spiritual gifts, and resources to bring the message of Christ to a lost and dying world. It is also the place where Christians learn doctrine, deepen their faith, and expand their personal relationship with their Creator.
