Jeff Nelson
Jeff joined our staff in October 2019 as Minister of Music. His passion is to lead and encourage people of all ages to glorify God using their gifts of music and worship. Jeff received his Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance at Houston Baptist University in 1985, and within the year, God called him into music ministry where he has faithfully served churches in the Houston area for over thirty years. Since 2012, Jeff has been the director of the southeast chapter of the Singing Men of Texas. As one of six chapters, the Singing Men of Texas share the gospel of Jesus Christ through music in the local church, and around the world. In 2018, Jeff led the Singing Men of Texas on a mission trip to New York City, and had the blessing of singing and ministering to churches in the city and the surrounding area. Jeff is married to the love of his life, Teresa. They have two adult children, Angela and Tim.
