Tanya Sands
Tanya began as the Adult Choir Director in 1993. She was born in Munich, Germany and after being adopted by a family in the United States, she became a naturalized citizen when she was four years old. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Southeastern State University in Oklahoma. Tanya has always had a passion for music, and enjoys helping others develop that same passion. The Adult Choir’s Christmas and Easter Cantatas are two of her favorite things she does all year. Tanya has been a public school teacher for more than 40 years, and continues to love her job and her students. She enjoys teaching private piano lessons. Tanya has two children, Stefani and Tiffani.
